First ever in Georgia!

ON SATURDAY, LUCY LU, A SECOND CHANCE RESCUED DOG, BECAME THE FIRST EVER AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER, TO BE A REGISTER THERAPY DOG IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA!

Big congratulations go to Kim Murphy who rescued Lucy Lu. After being up for adoptions for a short time, Lucy Lu became the Second Chance mascot, and finally a permanent family member in the Murphy home. After attending obedience training and passing all of her tests with flying colors on Saturday, Lucy Lu is a registered therapy dog.

AND SHE JUST HAPPENS TO BE THE FIRST AMERICAN PIT BULL IN GEORGIA TO DO SO. (AND DID WE MENTION SHE WAS RESCUED ALSO?) Way to go Lucy Lu, and Kim!

Second Chance: Rescuing without regard to breed, colors, or national origin.
